The International Coastal Cleanup has been officially held on the third Saturday of every September for the past 24 years. Ocean Conservancy understands the need to organize a Cleanup on a different day due to religious commemorations, extreme weather events, or scheduling conflicts. Therefore, Ocean Conservancy accepts data from approved Cleanups held on any day in September or October.

Please use the below form to propose a Cleanup. By proposing a Cleanup, you are volunteering to be the site captain for that location. Ocean Conservancy and the International Coastal Cleanup coordinators work together to organize and implement the Cleanup.
